Tell us a bit about yourself & your business.

You can read all about me, my story and my business here. https://melissaambrosini.com/about/

What gives you the drive/passion to do what you do? In other words what’s your WHY?

What I do feels totally choiceless. It moves through me and it’s something I believe I was put on earth to do. I simply must inspire women to unlock their full potential and become the best version of themselves possible.

What does health & wellness mean to you?

It’s about embodying a holistic approach to mind, body and spirit wellness. How do you maintain your own health and wellness whilst being so busy? I make it a priority. My health and happiness is at the top of my to do list not bottom. It doesn’t matter how full (I don’t use the work busy) life gets I make it a priority. Why? Because I know how important it is. I know that when I look after myself and fill myself up I show up to the world as the best version of me.

What does a typical day look like for you?

No two days are ever the same but a rough day might look like this.... ● 6-9am Meditation, movement, gratitude, make breakfast, school lunch and do school drop off ● 9-12:30pm Writing time (I am currently writing my second book) ● 12:30pm-1pm Lunch and maybe a quick swim at the beach ● 1pm-3pm Work time ● 3pm School pick up + emails + meditation ● 6pm Dinner, family time, bath, maybe a swim or walk along the beach

"me time" what’s it like for you?

Me time is the best and something I try and include every single day. I love epsom salt baths, reading, laying on the beach, walks, laying on my bed and looking out at the ocean, putting my legs up the wall and listening to music, doing yoga and stretching on my bedroom floor.

Your skincare routine/ritual?

My best friend Emmily Banks is an organic natural beauty make up artist and teacher, and she keeps me up to date with all the best and latest natural, organic and toxic free products. She is always gifting me the latest goodies to try. I love The Beauty Chef Beauty Fix Balm , it’s so nourishing for dry lips. I usually get my hair done for speaking gigs and photo shoots but when I have to do it myself, I use Mukti Luxe Hair Serum to get rid of the frizz. I am obsessed with Lepaar 24k Precious Face Oil . This is next level holistic luxury skincare. It’s a sun-infused blend of 12 biodynamic, organic and natural ingredients, mindfully selected for their regenerating, age-proofing, moisturising and balancing properties. Simply divine! I love to use natural makeup for speaking gigs and photo shoots and Emmily always does my make up. She uses Inika and Ere Perez on me because they perform so well and are organic and toxic free. I also love Weleda and Dr Bronner's organic soaps, they are the only two I use.Our skin is our largest organ and whatever we use topically gets absorbed straight into our bloodstream so I don’t put anything on my body that I wouldn’t eat myself. I'm pretty relaxed when it comes to my skin as I believe simple is best. For my face, I like to use oils such as coconut or rosehip. I take my makeup off with a warm wash cloth. I exfoliate with sand when I am in the ocean and I take off my eye make with organic coconut oil. For my body, I dry body brush in the morning before I jump in the shower and I lather my body in olive oil. To be honest, I only wash my hair once or maybe twice a week. I live on the beach and swim in the ocean most days and get over washing it. When I do, Mukti Botanique Shampoo and Conditioner . I don’t colour my hair but I get it cut every 8 weeks with Jaye from Edwards and Co.
